Director Anders Thomas Jensen (Riders of Justice, Adam’s Apples) returns with his sixth collaboration with Mads Mikkelsen. A humorous, intriguing, and devious tale about identity. The film had it’s world premiere at Venice International Film Festival.
 
Imagine is the largest film festival for Fantastic film in the Netherlands, showcasing the best in fantasy, horror, sci-fi and everything in between. Imagine is all about the imagination. We believe dreaming big is best, because Weird Is Wonderful. After the 2025 festival, Imagine is touring the country with five favourites from this year’s programme. The Best of Imagine will be screened in Louis Hartlooper Complex on November 15th.

Omschrijving

Anchor is released after serving fifteen years in prison. His brother Manfred buried the loot from their old bank robbery and is the only one who knows where it is. Unfortunately, Manfred has developed a mental disorder that causes him to forget everything. One moment he believes he’s a Viking, the next he’s the reincarnated John Lennon. With a bloodthirsty rival on their heels, a race against time begins, and the brothers set out in search of both the money and themselves.
